Office Colleagues - Week 5

A set of journaling cards - have some fun and find your colleagues, you're dealing with them every day, that's probably time to write about them in your diary. Yes, I'm evil. But they are cute anyway.

7 Cool Benefits of Having a Diary + Freebie

Writing a personal diary was a very usual activity before. Now we can see just a few people do it because we simply don't know how to keep a personal journal. Even keeping a diary only for a month can help you with inner balance. It also has other benefits that can improve your quality of life.

1. It is a constant record of your progress
What frustrates all of us from time to time - that we are lazy/not doing enough/making mistakes. We are accumulating this feeling and think we haven't achieved anything, even it was a period of hard work. So, the diary writing can definitely prove it's not true, you will see the improvements and it will inspire you to go on.

2. It leads you towards your goals
The need of putting your wishes and choosing the actions to paper is huge. If you are a human being, you definitely noticed how you can think about the same, again and again, modifying it in your thoughts and creating plans. Writing on paper brings more peace to your brain, it allows you to see the panorama clearly. By setting goals and writing the steps for reaching them in your planner or diary, you have the chance to cool your mind. And free-writing in the diary helps you to track our aims, and make our targets become closer.

3. It pushes you to think out of frame
While describing various situations in your diary, you can look at things from a totally different perspective which didn't come to you before. Writing brings us inspiration and ability to write about obvious moments in an unusual light.

4. It touches you with details
The clear sense of life can be explored by writing activity. Describing exciting moments like the birth of your baby, meeting with a friend, or university graduation brings life to your pages. Later on you'd love to reread and remember the surrounding reality again. Same with troubles - to reread them later greatly helps to accept it logically and feel the time passed and your feelings are not so dramatic.

5. It enhances your writing skills
What can help you to skate well? Only practice. Same with writing, so if you're writing down your memories on a regular basis, soon you will notice it's much easier for you to write an article at work, or a holiday mails to your relatives.

6. It moves you forward
A diary will keep your good and hard days. With your everyday reflections, your writing notes will keep you stronger and more stable in front of your future obstacles. A diary progress will make you believe that you've coped with so many troubles already, and found a way to avoid them too. Your personal diary is like an ongoing novel with main character going forward.

7. It reduces stress
Going on with your diary lets you to express your emotions, that can be a healthy way of relieving life tension. Some problems which you cannot discuss with others, can always be placed in your diary.

So, keeping diaries can encourage you, minimize your stress and stabilize your mood. It gives you a view of your past attempts and persistence which pushes you forward. You can see how far you have come, what you want to get from this life, and the personal reasons not to give up.

I know also that my words can't persuade you at once, so today, I've decided to give one page of Plans Matter diary for free. It's A5 size, for writing only one line a day. You can't say "no" to one line, especially when you keep this page in your planner already. You can download One Line Diary here, try it for one month, and probably YOU will inspire yourself to have a personal diary. Enjoy :)

Breathtaking view - Week 3

I continue to work on my planner, as soon as I want to say it's ready, I'm adding new things, useful for office workers. As I've considered to sell it as a digital copy, I wish for the customers to combine pages as it's most useful for their perfect planning structure, that's why I make each page printed for left and right sides.
I work on Katra Marketing as well, adding posts, enlarging the website structure; going to have a promo campaign next month, it also takes time.
It was a beautiful week, I even forgot to make cards on time. :) I couldn't find the right topic, because for this week all my album will be filled with photos. Here are mountain journaling cards, inspirational as the mountains have to be. Have a good time.

Shopping list - Is Yours Different?

I've finished Shopping List for my planner and would like to share it with you for free.
I've included things I'm buying on a regular basis, probably your list will be totally different. I'm an ovo-lacto-vegetarian, this scary word means I do not eat red meat and chicken, but I use fish, cheese, eggs, seafood in my daily menu.

I recommend it for:
  • vegetarians and their families;
  • fitness-focused people;
  • your healthy meatless month challenge;
  • food habits changers.
The list is easy to complete and to get everything you need for your kitchen. The products in the list will give you a plenty of variations what to eat at home. (I live with a similar list more than 10 years).

It's perfect for office workers and busy women, who never know where they will be after work. Planned monthly meals are strange for me, with all my love to lists I can't make a monthly planner with dinners. Sometimes I go back home, sometimes I eat out, sometimes I'm not in the mood to cook and simply want a salad or a sandwich. If you are not a housewife, you should understand me well.

You can download my Shopping list and compare with your own. Have I forgot something? Is it convenient to use it? Leave your comments, help me to make a Perfect Planner

New Year Week - №1

I've decided to make a short week (01-03) , because there are a lot of nice moments happened. We have renovated our dining room in deep blue, now it's quiet and nice. It doesn't look dark at all, because we've painted only one wall, and other three remained creamy white.
I've also finished my resolutions for the new year, you can still make up your mind and be more determined in 2015. I've printed out the list and placed it in my bedroom. I want also to print out one for my office desk, and one for the Perfect Planner I've made.

Allright, here is my first set of free journaling cards. The image is a preview only, so you can download it from my Google Drive.

I also remind you that the easiest way to follow this blog - like my group Plane Your Plan on Facebook, or follow one of my Pinterest Boards called Journaling Cards.

New Year Resolutions - Pick Yours for 2015

The first day of the year is great to make plans and think about the year ahead. Usually we all start with good intentions, but quickly lose strength.

Let's continue with a couple of statistic numbers:
Almost 2/3 of people make promises to themselves in New Year.
75% of them maintain their resolutions through the first week of the year. With some primitive knowledge of Maths, we can figure out that 1/4 of people can't EVEN make it for ONE WEEK!

And only 12% of those who set goals, will keep up with them through the year.
88% OF NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS END IN FAILURE.
(I really want to frame it and put on the wall in my room, as a motivator) :)

There are a lot of gurus of strategic planning and personal motivation, who are willing to give you the secrets how to become a better person. They are always so positive and pleasant, so I don't know about you, but I feel myself like shit that I can't keep up my daily routine and remain as miraculously happy as them. So, I prefer just go with a flow and make a reasonable, action-oriented list of goals I really can cope with.

ALL I KNOW - OVERTHINKING DOESN'T BRING YOU RESULTS.  But if you write your resolutions on paper, it'd be easier for you to follow them. And I wish you could do the same, so I made an A4 paper with New Year Resolutions of different people that you can download and use as ideas for your own list. Some of them are silly, some of them are very hard to achieve, it's just a help for you. The list is ready for printing, and there's a space for your own goals. Write them down, cut the paper and try your best to make them true in 2015. Good luck.
